I hope you are well, and I hope Today’s Quote From God has been a blessing to you!

A few weeks back I posted about my daughter Kayla’s upcoming missions trip to Medellin, Colombia. She leaves for her trip the first week of July, and she is currently $600 shy of her goal of $2,700, which is due by June 25th. She will be traveling with Imago Dei Soccer Academy, under the Charlotte, NC office of MAI, to the city of Medellin in Colombia. MAI’s goal is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the platform of soccer. Personal testimonies, post-game presentations, camps and clinics are just a few of the ways we are able to share God’s love overseas.

As Kayla writes in her missions support letter:

“I have never been on a missions trip, but I greatly desire to get out into the world and spread the Gospel. Using soccer as a vehicle for spreading the gospel is even better. I want to get out and do things for Christ and this is the perfect opportunity. The money covers all the expenses for the tour, as well as ministry supplies. If you decide to support me, all donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be sent to you. Contributions are solicited with the understanding that the receiving organization has complete control over the use of all donated funds. Donations come from donors like you, interested in both MAI’s ministry and in helping the individual participant.”
