Take a moment to read the following email from a member of our church:

My best friend in Kentucky sent me a wonderful message today regarding her mother. I am so thankful for our church members’ prayers over this past week! We serve THE GREAT PHYSICIAN!!!

From my friend:

“The pneumonia in Mom’s lung is completely gone!!!!! They are moving her to a regular room! Spread the word to rejoice and give glory to God!

“It’s been two days since they told us the infection was growing faster than the antibiotics could fight. And then yesterday, her healthy lung collapsed ‘FLAT’! The infected lung was two thirds of the way full of pneumonia two days ago when I saw it. They came in today and did another x-ray…the doctor came in to talk to my brother and said both lungs are working and the one that was full of pneumonia is completely clear… Then he looked at my brother, smiled real big, and shook his hand.

I was on my way to the office from Florence when I talked to my brother and got lost on the interstate twice…I was beside myself!”

On death’s door one day, free from illness the next. Only God can work such miracles in answer to prayer, and only God deserves the title “The Great Physician.”

When faced with illness – or any other trouble, for that matter – take the matter before the Lord. There is no guarantee that God will grant your request for healing, but one thing is certain: He won’t heal you unless you ask Him to.
